PENGARUH PENDIDIKAN KESEHATAN METODE INTERPERSONAL TERHADAP PEMAHAMAN IBU HAMIL TENTANG PENGETAHUAN BABY BLUES

The problem of Baby Blues in pregnant women is a mild feeling disorder due to adjustment to the birth of a baby experienced by women after giving birth until the fourteenth day, but what you need to watch out for, this can get serious and last a long time which is usually called postpartum depression. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of health education with interpersonal methods on the understanding of pregnant women before and after being given health education in the working area of the Garuda Health Center. This research design used a quasi experiment with a pre and post test design without control. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling with consecutive sampling method. In this research design, the researcher only intervened in one group without a comparison. This research was conducted with 30 respondents. The measuring instrument used is a questionnaire sheet of knowledge of pregnant women about the Baby blues. The results of the Paired Sample T Test showed that the effect of before and after being given health education had a significance of 0.000, which means that there was a significant effect before and after being given Health Education with Interpersonal Methods on Pregnant Women About Understanding the Baby blues. It can be concluded that the provision of health education with interpersonal methods about knowledge of the baby blues can increase the understanding of pregnant women about knowledge of the baby blues. The results of this study suggest that other related research should be carried out to improve the skills of mothers in dealing with childbirth and to prevent the occurrence of the baby blues.
