Publication Ethics

Jurnal Ners Indonesia (JNI) is fully committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics. All publishing processes are conducted with integrity, transparency, and accountability, in accordance with international guidelines such as those established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Authors’ Responsibilities

Authors must ensure that submitted manuscripts are original, free from plagiarism, and have not been published elsewhere. Proper citation of all sources is mandatory. Authors are responsible for the accuracy of data, clarity of methodology, and compliance with ethical standards of research, including ethical approval when involving human participants.

Editors’ Responsibilities

Editors are responsible for the initial screening of manuscripts, ensuring alignment with the journal’s scope, and maintaining confidentiality throughout the review process. Editorial decisions are based solely on the scientific merit, relevance, and contribution of the manuscript, without discrimination regarding the authors’ background.

Reviewers’ Responsibilities

Reviewers provide objective evaluations of the scientific quality of manuscripts. The double-blind peer review process ensures fairness and minimizes bias. Reviewers must maintain confidentiality and deliver constructive feedback to help authors improve their work. Publication Integrity JNI strictly prohibits unethical practices such as plagiarism, data fabrication, and duplicate publication. In cases of ethical violations, the editorial board reserves the right to retract published articles and take appropriate actions in line with COPE guidelines. By adhering to these principles, JNI is committed to maintaining the quality, integrity, and trustworthiness of scholarly communication, thereby meeting the standards of nationally and internationally recognized journals.
