About the Journal

Jurnal Ners Indonesia (JNI) is an open-access scientific publication with a peer-review system managed by the Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Riau, in collaboration with PPNI of Pekanbaru. JNI serves as a strategic platform for nurses, researchers, educators, and health practitioners to disseminate original research results and innovations that contribute significantly to the advancement of nursing science and the improvement of healthcare quality at a global level. JNI accepts various types of manuscripts, including original research, review articles, theory and concept development, as well as case studies on professional nursing topics. In addition, JNI is committed to scientific integrity by accepting research results that have negative findings (negative results), provided that the research design used is robust and methodologically valid.

Focus and Scope

JNI (Jurnal Keperawatan Indonesia) publishes original research articles, review articles, and case studies that provide novel insights across various nursing fields. The scope includes, but is not limited to: clinical nursing, community and family nursing, maternal and child health, psychiatric nursing, nursing management, gerontological nursing, emergency and critical care nursing, and medical-surgical nursing.

Peer Review

Process Double Blind Peer Review All manuscripts are subject to double-blind peer review and are expected to meet standards of academic excellence. Reviewers for the submitted manuscripts of the journal are nominated, selected, and approved by the journal editors. Reviewer's and authors' identities will remain anonymous. Submissions will be considered by peer reviewers only after the approval of editors.

Publication Frequency

The Jurnal Ners Indonesia is published twice a year, in March and September. Each issue contains approximately 10 articles. JNI is committed to the timely dissemination of high-quality research and adopts a continuous publication model, allowing accepted articles to be published online immediately after completing the review and production process.

Open Access Statement

The Jurnal Ners Indonesia is a fully open access journal. All published articles are freely accessible to readers worldwide without subscription or payment. Users may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, and link to the full text of articles for lawful purposes without prior permission from the publisher or authors. All articles are published under an open access license stated in each article.
