PENGARUH SUPPORTIVE EDUCATIVE NURSING SYSTEM (SENSY) TERHADAP KUALITAS HIDUP FAMILY CAREGIVER PASIEN HEMODIALISIS

Abstrak

Tingginya prevalensi Family caregiver yang mengalami masalah fisik, psikologis, sosial dan finansial dalam merawat menyebabkan tingginya beban perawatan (caregiver burden) yang dialami. Kondisi ini signifikan akan mempengaruhi kualitas hidup. Penurunan kualitas hidup pada Family caregiver akan berdampak buruk pada perannya dalam melakukan perawatan. Inovasi yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup pada Family caregiver sangat penting dilakukan seiring dengan peningkatan caregiver burden dalam merawat pasien Hemodialisis (HD). Salah satu inovasi tersebut adalah Supportive Educative Nursing System (SENSY). SENSY dilakukan untuk membantu Family caregiver meningkatkan pengetahuan, pengambilan keputusan, kontrol perilaku dalam memberikan perawatan, serta peningkatan kualitas hidup. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh SENSY terhadap kualitas hidup pada Family caregiver yang merawat pasien HD. Desain penelitian adalah Quasy experiment dengan pre and post test with control group design dengan melibatkan 48 responden. SENSY dilakukan melalui 4 metode yakni pembelajaran (teaching) dengan memberikan edukasi audiovisual. Dukungan (Supporting) dan bimbingan (Guiding) dilakukan dengan memberikan motivasi, dan bimbingan strategi koping melalui Family Psychoeducation (FPE) yang dilakukan oleh psychiatric nurse. Pengembangan lingkungan (Developmental Environment) dilakukan dengan memberikan modul suportif edukatif. Kualitas hidup diukur menggunakan kuesioner Adult Carer Quality of Life (AC-QoL). Uji Independent t-test menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata kualitas hidup yang signifikan dengan p-value=0,000 (p<0,005) dengan peningkatan rata-rata kualitas hidup lebih tinggi pada kelompok intervensi. SENSY dapat meningkatkan kualitas hidup Family caregiver yang merawat pasien Hemodialisis. SENSY dapat diterapkan sebagai salah satu intervensi untuk meningkatkan QoL anggota keluarga yang merawat pasien HD, dan dikembangkan pada berbagai penelitian yang akan datang.
